STEM ROBOT LEARNING PROGRAM

            The program is aimed to generate interest among students towards Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) through the innovative use of Robotics learning platform and other research based hands-on learning tools.

We believe that Robotics based programs & competitions are one of the best platforms providing an opportunity to students to connect with science & technology in a fun filled and engaging manner. Therefore we have established a dedicated Robotics Learning Lab for STEM Robotics Learning Program in association with John Deere India Pvt. Ltd. The inauguration of the lab took place on 1st August 2015 under the auspices of our respected chairman Mr. Mehmood Moledina. We were glad to have the presence of the visionary personalities Mr.Mukul Varshney (Vice President, Public Affairs – John Deere India Pvt.Ltd.) & Mr.Ritu Raj(Business director – John Deere India Pvt.Ltd.) on this occasion.

            A full-fledged robotics learning course is especially designed for the students of class VII. A team of dedicated and enthusiastic Engineers from John Deere conduct the weekly mind storming workshops for our students and provide them industrial and professional environment. The course activities are,

  • Design and build a robot
  • Assembling & programming sensors
  • Program a robot according to the tasks
  • Understanding basic principles of mathematics & Physics
  • Mastering in mathematical calculations to get better results in autonomous programming.
  • How to implement different innovative ideas

 

At the end of the course the competition at school level is conducted out of which best two teams are selected for further competitions. The competitions are being held at three levels.

Achievements:

2014-15 :       Winner of FTC Pune Robot Olympiad 2014

Qualified for National Robot Olympiad, New Delhi.

2015-16 :       i)   Best Team Work award
